Helping the Hungry, One Small Town, at a Time

Chris and Tony are committed to the Rolling Help Foundation mission, and have left their previous careers, their bricks and mortar home, to provide support to small towns across America. They will be covering 10’s of thousands of miles, and expect to cover over half the country in 2021 and the balance in 2022.

Chris and Tony met in 2016 in Maui and enjoyed several years in paradise before moving to Colorado. Tony was still in mortgage banking and also had family commitments to take care of. Chris was ready to explore the mainland after spending her entire life on Oahu and Maui.

Read more about their motivation behind founding Rolling Hope Foundation HERE. But a little about their background…

Chris and Tony have 7 adult kids between them and currently, 6 grandchildren! The kids live around the continent; Halifax, Collingwood, Ontario, Seattle, Portland, Denver, and Austin. So, when they returned to the mainland in late 2018, they made a plan to go mobile, and purchase an RV to live fulltime on the road and explore!

Tony loves operating big machines; he was a private pilot and until recently, a veteran motorcyclist. He had also rented RV’s and taken his kids camping and had already caught the bug. Chris also loves to explore but had very limited experience, given she lived on a tiny island! However, she was all-in with the project and can’t wait to cover thousands upon thousands of miles.

After deciding they would make this massive lifestyle change, they also realized that they wanted to give back. As they looked at compatible charitable work they could do, food security and support of food banks, rose to the top. The need was undisputable, and realizing they would have the ability to cover many small towns that are in desperate shortages, this was the avenue they chose.

In mid 2020, Rolling Help Inc., was formed as a Colorado Non-Profit corporation and on November 1, 2020, the IRS approved Rolling Help as a 501(c)3 public charity. Their plan together was hatched, they couldn’t be more excited, and we hope that you will follow along and help them be that, “Drop in The Bucket!”

Recent Travels

As of December, 2020, we are in the process of finalizing our coach purchase and preparing to hit the road. We took a trip in June, 2020, to Jackson Hole, in a rented, 38 foot Sport Coach. The coach was much smaller than the 45 foot rig we have selected and so nowhere near as much room. But nonetheless, we lived and loved the RV lifestyle, covered 1,020 miles and had a blast. It was our “Proof-In-Concept,” trip and we are all in! So, we have begun to raise money to provide support to small towns, commencing in January, 2021 and we hope we can have your help!

The Politics of Hunger in America

The Politics of Hunger in America

My wife Chris and I started the Rolling Help Foundation last year with one mission in mind, with one plan. We focused on being that “Drop in The Bucket” against Food Insecurity in small towns. While nothing mission-oriented has changed, the world certainly has. ...
